In recent years, Yongren County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province has used its unique solar thermal resources to develop the photovoltaic industry. By introducing large enterprises to build photovoltaic power stations on barren hills and slopes, it has driven the employment of surrounding villagers and the collective income of the village. At present, the county has built 4 centralized photovoltaic power plants and 108 distributed grid-connected photovoltaic power plants, with an output value of over 1.6 billion yuan.
