Baihetan to Jiangsu UHV DC project put into operation
On July 1, the Baihetan-Jiangsu ±800kV UHV DC project of State Grid Corporation of China was completed and put into operation. The project starts from Butuo County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and ends in Changshu City, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. It passes through 5 provinces, with a total length of 2,080 kilometers. Two new converter stations, Baihetan and Yucheng, are newly built.
